    Grab one of these from Lowes, makes the derping a lot more enjoyable. I think doing the lower bumper on my Tacoma was one of the best mods I've done.

    I derped the center shifter console. I like the look of the stuff but hate the texture. It is slightly tacky to touch and collects dog hair something fierce. Not easy to clean either because of the texture of the console.

    The sooner you pull it off the easier. The dip will stick to the tape and you risk peeling off the dip. I used a razor blade and carefully cut around the tape.. Worked pretty well

    Not sure if it has been said but using 3 "x5" notecards stuck between the rim and tires make a very fast and easy job to paint/derp wheels. No masking shit off

    You dont have to.... i did like 4 coats with 15 min curing times... after my 4th coat and like 10 minutes i took it all off... you don't have to etch anything either it peels off the paint and away from the letters. To get inside the letters just take a wooden toothpick and pick at it.

    2 questions.

    For those that did their chrome rear bumper. did you have to scuff up the surface at all, or just spray it on like the badges.

    Also. Since the quote to vinyl wrap my truck was around 3200 bucks, I think I am going to dip it red instead. Anyone got any opinions on flat red or gloss red? What is the difference in the product that makes it flat versus glossy? I am thinking I want the glossy honestly.

    No need to rough or scuff up the chrome bumper. Just make sure it is very clean and dry. The plasti-dip will stick just fine.

    Some guy on here dipped his wheels and then painted regular paint over them and it still peeled off. Maybe you can try that with glossy red.
