    I did 4-5 coats on mine, and like mentioned, used a razor blade to cut where I taped off.

    Well I did it! Cleaned the lower bumper and taped it off and started spraying. I put four coats on the bumper and my toyota logo from my grill. Not to brag, but they came out pretty good. I waited close to an hour to remove the tape with the help of a blade. The plasti-dip was still a little soft and was easy to remove. I miss cut slightly, but you really have to look to notice...although it bothers me cause im OCD...ha
    Thanks for the tips and I'll try to post some pics when ever I figure out how to...

    plasti-dipped two wheels yesterday. going to give it a week and thorough wash to see how they hold up before i do all four. It took 1 whole can to do both wheels. About 5 light-medium coats each wheel, 30 minutes b/t coats. Even after 5 coats I saw a spot that that didn't get good coverage on the center cap and I was easily able to scrape it away with my fingernail after it had dried for 4 hours. On this spot I was able to see silver coming through so it really didn't have any paint on it all. I have now made sure there is very thick coverage on all spots of both wheels. I'll report back next weekend when I see how they hold up to a good handwashing.

    I fucking HATE home depot though...pain in the ass self check outs, park close to the entrance end and exit the far end of the building on the other side, all the employees are annyoning (if anyone is actually at work that day)...I could go on all day
    But I will put a bag over my head just long enough to get some damn plasti dip

    i plasti dipp my wheels and it sucks!! before i knew it the paint came of a wheel while driving. But i did it to see if i like how my truck looked like with black wheels. so now its time to paint them with real paint.

    I will soon, all the mud on there is making my steering wheel shake like crazy, I did have to unpeel one wheel and re-do it. A huge air pocked formed under. DON'T use tape use notecards its faster and looks much better

    Fuck home depot! I went there after work and spent 10 mins looking for "the shit" and they dont have it at the one here. Turns out its the smallest home depot in the nation...mother fuckers. :bananadead:
