I checked all the car part stores around here in Philly and none of them had it. None of the Lowes or Depots here either. Maybe type in google local hardware stores in your area that was the only place i could fine it. I looked for days. I bought a few cans of black & 1 white just so i would have it for future use. It was 7.99 Good luck. I did see it for sale on ebay when i got frustrated looking

Well...instead of start another thread on plasti-dipping, I"ll just ask my question here; Has anyone used any other color besides black? I was curious how the white would match up with the Super White. I'm wantin to color match my grill surround and that would be a lot easier than sanding and painting...

If it matches pretty well, I plan to color match it, then plasti-dip my billet/emblems/and probably my nerf bars black.

For tape lines-use a razor to cut a line thy separates the tape and the rest of what you are painting

For rims-3-4 light coats and 1 thick coat

The plasti-dip is holding up fine. I have painted all 4 now and washed them all twice. No wear at all. I will say that dirt shows up really well on them and b/c of the texture you can't just grab a rag and wipe them off. The dirt or debris want's to smear b/c of the rubbery/grippy texture. If you know you want to go black and don't mind it being permanent, then I'd suggest using paint, not plasti-dip. I really like the black look and get lots of compliments on them. It's nice to know that if I wanted to sell the truck I could get it all off and go back to the stock look.

You need to put it on really really thick for it to work right, but it will run so you have to do multiple coats. I did 5 light-med coats by the time it was all done. 2 cans was all I needed.

It holding up really well. I have one small chip and that's it. The street sweepers threw out a butt load of sand when it iced over and they havent picked it up. So, people are kicking up all types of sand and little pebbles when you're on the road. I'm suprised I don't have more chips that the one, so I guess it's holding up.

Well tomorrow is the day, i stopped at Lowe's today and bought some plasti dip. Tomorrow i'm going to try and plasti dip my rim's and my badges. I've been doing quite a bit of research about it and thought i would give it a try! These are just going on my stock rims so if something does go wrong i can just peel them off. Will try to take some pics and show ya how my progress goes! Wish me luck!

I just painted my front skid plate black

Do you all think if i went back over it with a coat of plasti dip, think it would hold the black on there good?

I will take the rims and tires off of the truck and plasti dip them. The Emblems will get plasti dipped on the truck itself.

Also was thinking about painting my front (chrome) grill and my bumper black, looked at a video of youtube where a guy did his bumper with Plasti dip, idk if it held up good but it did look decent.

Here is the bumper painted. Depends on how much plasti dip i have left on whether or not i will run back over it with the plasti dip.
