I pulled the weights off, dipped the wheel, and then had the tire store rebalance with inner lip and stick on weights only. I figured the dip was going to throw the balance off anyway, so either way I was going to rebalance

Did not have a balance issue after dipping. I thought there might be a issue, but thought I'd try it before spending money on a balance.

Should I plasti-dip this? I've never used the stuff before but the bottom piece on the bumper is a bit faded on my recently purchased 2012.

I'm thinking about doing my valance. For anybody that's done it, about how many coats is adequate? How long did you wait in between coats and how many cans did you use? Thanks.

When I did mine I think I did around six coats. The first few were thin then I applied it a little thicker each time. I was out in direct sun when I sprayed and I waited between 10 - 12 minutes between coats.

LOL I just noticed that I pulled the pic that I had where I was messing with photoshop color matching my grille.....

Hahaha. Thanks, looks good. I'll try it sometime this week, it's supposed to rain today. As for that grill... I've seen it before & I really liked it, where did you get it?

For the red TRD part, did you just paint red over the plasti dip? Was thinking I'd get one of the paint pens from Advance and paint it by hand after dipping.

That's the grille that came on my '11 with a chrome surround. I was trying to get an idea of how a color-matched grille would look...I have since put a satoshi grille on.

Did you have to apply the gloss for the rear bumper?
