I did my wheels yesterday for the second time. The first time I had a bridging issue between tire and lip of wheels, and when I peeled the overspray off the tire, it peeled it off the lip of the wheel as well. This time, I ran a razor knife around that interface after every 2 coats, very light pressure. No issues this time, curious to see how well they hold up. I did 5 light coats of black, took 3 cans, and then 3 light coats of the new graphite metalizer, 1 can. This metalizer looks to be like the glossifier in consistency, with some metal flakey stuff thrown in. It has the UV stabilizer in it, so I did not spray the glossifier. Pleased with the results, let me know what you guys think.

that looks sweet!! im planning to dip my stocks for winter use (gotta buy&mount winter tires first)..id like to know how they hold up. when i peeled my front emblem to respray aluminum it was bonded really nice..then once i finally got it started..peeled easy.. seems to harden up nice over time..that was without glossifier too.. metalizer really makes those wheels!!

Mine was fine for about 4 years before my truck was totaled. Kept the bumper on to spray. Just taped up some newspaper.

Yea I want to colormatch my mirror covers, so either get the true metallic aluminum and some glossifier OR buy real paint from automotivetouchup.com
