If it is too thin to peel, goo gone or wd 40 will take it off.

Has anyone found that they should have used, or have used, the protective spray? I haven't used it before but am wanting to do my rims and maybe would help or really doesn't make a difference?

Dipped my shell last weekend. True metallic aluminum is a very close match to silver streak mika (1E7) I think. Bought 5 cans of true metallic aluminum and 2 cans of glossifier. took my time with taping off the windows and edges. Overall I think it came out ok, but there are a few spots where I taped over a little too much. Cost me about $60 for everything from dipyourcar.com during their black friday sale.

    MERRY CRHISTMAS tacomaworld!

Strongly considering plasti-dipping my rear chrome bumper.

I don't really like the look of the chrome anymore, and I'm planning to get a color matched grille anyway.

Any tips or recommendations for someone who's never used this stuff before?

Make sure you clean the bumper real well. I
guess I didn't clean a part of my bumper off too good and it began to peel off by itself... it's still covering my bumper, but the plasti dip isn't attached to anything and looks stretched out

Try putting the can in hot water then spray. It works so much better. But you have to do at each coat. I learned the hard way
