For anyone who plastidipped their fender flares. Did you remove and dip or leave them on and tape off?

Definitely remove the bumper caps. Super easy to get on and off. Check out minute 6 of this video to get the little clip back on.

Did the bumper caps black. Considering doing them gray to match the cement because I’m about to just some gray to do the emblem on the grill. Has anybody done the bumper caps grey?

I like the red letters on the grill but I think cement will look better.

So I want to paint flames on the body of my taco. I got some luxury blue plasti dip. Can I just cut out a stencil, tape it on, and give it a couple coats? And since I'm doing it on the body (MGM) should I use a glossifier too?

Any advice would be helpful :)

I would do more than a couple coats. They say the more the better. I think I usually do like six. I don’t really count. Yes, definitely use glossifier.
I wouldn’t personally ever do that but I think that sounds like an awesome idea. Can’t wait to see the pictures.

For those who have done their emblems/badges, "The Peel and Reveal" .... have you noticed it pulling away from the actual letters?
I just find it odd that it bonds to the letters, especially around the tops and side, but doesnt peel away when removing from inbetween and such.... it just seems to good to be true....

Also, did you prep the badges with anything prior? Scuff them for better adhesion? Chrome etching?

It doesn’t pull away off the letters because of the break between lettering and truck body. Just take it slow when peeling off. For the insides of letters, I used a toothpick to pick them out. Didn’t do anything to letters beforehand except make sure they aren’t dirty. It’s not too good to be true... it’s magic.

You have to pop them off. I watched a couple of youtube videos in order to do it. Honestly if I had to do it over again I would've bought bumper caps to go over them. It wasn't easy and the clips that hold the actual bumper in place are fragile.

Once you take the center cap out the little Toyota emblem can be popped out. Plasti dip like regular and pop it back in when you're done. One clip is a little wider than the other so it will only go in one way.

Right on, how about the lugs and the tire? You prep and cover those?

I didn't cover the tire. It peels off easy enough. I sprayed the lugs
