only if you're running a sub and amp. in which case, you will also need to soundproof the doors with plasti dip, both inside and outside

I'm thinking about trying out Plasti Dip for the first time and thought about moding my rims. Do I need to take the tires off the rims? Wheels off the truck? Which is the easiest way to do this? Again, I am completely new to Plasti Dip.

I did mind the truck and didn't mask a thing. Came out great. If you want, you could put some cardboard or something behind the wheel to cover the rotors.... Or just have a steady hand. Good luck! Any overspray onto the tire will eventually come off by itself.

Yeah thats just the vehicle paint.. Simply spray the plastix over top of it.. The reason for the tape/paper is so the excess gets put all in one spot for easier peeling.

I bought my first gen used, then I cracked one of my fender flares pretty bad........ and it turns out I have aftermarket bushwacker's. I already looked at the junk yard, noting, then I talked to 4-Wheel parts in town and they only sell them in sets of 4 for 330$

So does anyone know where I can get a singular bushwacker flare?

Or I had this idea of duck-taping it from the inside and then spraying the whole thing with plasti-dip, obviously I would have to do this to all four if I go that route. I might give it shot if I have time this afternoon because what the hell I can aways just peel it off.

I took my wheels off just so I could cover everything evenly and easily. The center caps were sprayed with white then dipped. All I did was score and pealed the Toyota emblem out of there... I don't really care if it peals up and I am happy with the results for now.

I have extra wide tires and want the extra wide flare to keep my brand new paint job nice for at least a little while, thats why I didn't take all four stock ones of a truck at the junk yard, and that one of them was broken as well.
