B then C - you can shoot the plasti-dip to see how you like the look of the black on red combo. If you like the look and the plasti-dip, you're finished! If you like the look and not the plasti-dip, peel of the dip and rattle-can'em. If you don't like the look - just peel off the dip!

So today ive been spending most of my time trying to track down Plasti Dip. You cant order it from the USA because of dangerous goods blah blah blah. So unless you want to pay up the butt and have it come from Europe, there isnt anywhere you can get it. Well unless you cross the border... What the HELL:mad:

Mine's been on for a few months now and no chips. The Plasti-Dip is so flexible that I don't think it really can chip. It would be like chipping a balloon... it's kinda impossible.

Not for plasti-dip, but seeing as that it is a bumper I would only have the plasti-dip for temorary. One chip and the whole thing will peel off easily. I took mine off and sanded it down and did the whole primer, flat black paint, and flat clear-coat, but I guess I didn't sand it down enough. It's starting to chip. I might get it powder-coated or rhino-line it :D

I got the last can of black on the shelf, at Home Hardware in Kamloops. According to their website, Kelowna has a place that carries all sorts of Plasti-Dip products.

Where did you end up getting EZ liner. I was wanting to hit my skid plate with that and then later when my sliders get enough dings in them to start pulling off the powder coating, I was gonna hit them with that.

Well, I'm in canada. Got it at Canadian Tire.

    BUT

"toyotadude5" actually did his hole rocker panels, fender flares, etc with the stuff and he's in the USA. Maybe shoot him a PM.

    Here is his truck:

In the USA there are more options too. Rustoleum, and..at least one other aerosol option.

    Good luck!

I'm gonna take off all the decals and possibly black headlight mod.

Also hardwired the gps to the truck and fixed the overhead temp/compass gauge. Been a busy day.

    great looking dips guys!

anyone know how white the white dip is? would it be at all equivalent to "super white"?

im thinking about doing my grill surround and rear bumper in white. im also a little concerned about it staining. but yeah, just curious if white was ever used to match.

    thanks.
