What are you using to secure that hi lift base? And how did you mount that case? Just drill 4 holes for the carriage bolts and use a little bit of silicone to seal the holes when installing the nuts?

Hi Lift Base uses 2 - 1/4 x 20 carriage bolts, and a pair of plastic wing nuts with brass inserts,, small dab of thread lock (soft).....pretty much yup on the case,,,did use fender washers inside the case to spread out the contact area some

didn't mention it but th fender washers have a rubber washer same size under them.....so far no rattle from the hi lift base, but there is a a small rubber pad under the leading side also..

Heres a few pics from my MaxTrax mount...

    IMG_7227.jpg
I cut a 45 degree metal corner trim to the width of the maxtrax and drilled holes to fit the mounting pins and 1/4" carriage bolts

Looking good. It's a nice clean mounting solution for sure. Been using mine for about 4 years with now issues.

Definitely, with my OCD things gotta be clean and straight and very detail oriented. I couldn't find a square u bolt for the plano. I went with a rounded 2" u bolt and its bothering me knowing its not square. lol gonna try Amazon!

Any suggestions or links for 3/4 hollow punch? Want to cut weatherstripping for rack. Or perhaps a member with spare one? I could pay for shipping and send to the next member who needs it. Thanks!

No issues with the metal wire running through the weatherstrip? Not sure if 3rd gen are only ones with this type of build.

See below. Amazon is where it's at. Better off getting the 42" due to it always being cheaper for some reason
