    So.. first things first...
This contest was about a distraction in a shitty time in our lives and for that opportunity I say Thank You to @bvbull200 , @Misplaced Nebraskan and @Kanyon71 for making this all happen and taking the time to submit their opinions.

Secondly, I feel honored to have shared my passion for cooking with a world of strangers. I'm pretty lucky and am still working a full-time job and am able to help people in the real world by being a volunteer firefighter. I believe in paying things forward when I can and I want to take this opportunity to pay forward my prize to the 4th place person.

I'll let the judges reach out to that person and make the arrangements for that!

Remember that we're all strangers on this side of the screens and we all need to have distractions.

    Ok here we go!

    Cream Cheese Stuffing
    4 oz cream cheese softened
    1/4 cup parmesan cheese
    1 teaspoon chives
    1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
    1/4 teaspoon black pepper
    Cooked and crumbled bacon

Mix everything in a bowl and set aside.

    Bourbon Peach Glaze
    2 tbsp butter
    1 large shallot
    1/2 cup peach preserves
    1/3 cup bourbon
    2 tbsp Dijon mustard
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes

Melt butter in small saucepan over medium heat. Add shallot and cook, stirring occasionally 2-3 minutes or until shallots are soft.

Remove shallots from heat and stir in peach preserves, bourbon, mustard and red pepper flakes. Return to low heat and simmer until peach preserves are melted.

I started with thick cut bone in pork chops and made a slit in each one as big of a pocket as I could create. I preheated the grill and stuffed the stuffing inside and seasoned the outside with just salt and pepper.

It's about 8 minutes on each side and the target IT is 145F.

I made two "mistakes". #1 I should have used toothpicks to "seal" the stuffing inside as a lot of it melted out on the grill.. #2... I made the Bourbon Peach Glaze too late and should have put it on as soon as I flipped the chops to let it carmelize more.

It could totally go on the "list" as soon as @bvbull200 finds 30 hours in a day! Haha

I've done the stuffing and glaze separately as well... Combining them was for the wow factor!

Congrats to all the winners! And they all are.

Watch it buddy. Still have most of a 1,000 yard spool of Cat 5 under my table saw. When I moved in here 20 years ago it was state of the art. And have a 4 foot 1/4" spade bit to drill through headers to run it.

Was around the same time that Corning Glass changed their name to Corning Inc. and fiber started taking over. My grandfather worked for Corning and worked on the Palomar telescope lens that went to Mt. Palomar in California. Both rendition's the first lens cracked. We have come a long ways. Just saying... :drunk:

Kind of pissed to this day that when I went off to join the Navy for Nuc Power Engineering instead of following in my Grandfathers footsteps of Ceramic Engineering that he asked for his slide rule back. He was old school and good and bad for that IMO.

10 hub was state of the art at one time. The ring though ugh. Which MAU swallowed the damn ring?

Hey I think I know you all. Hmm computers.

Back when Microsoft Access Database was used as an Enterprise DB by many because it was included in Office Microsoft would call me and to tell me to them that SQL DB was the solution and I should try to convince them to step up. Which was true. But even then there were many better options depending on your platform. DB2, Sybase, Tandom Non Stop, etc. Any thing but Oracle. But we have more Oracle than I would care to admit to now. What a POS.

Spent the last 12 years with this cushy sit down gig consolidating data from disparate systems and it is paying off now big time now. Put all your data in the same bucket. Been here for almost 20 years now no regrets, best decision I ever made.

Bottom line is I worked for a VAR back then after I retired from the Navy in 95 and MS$ told me to tell them to please stop. But then the Excel thing doubled it. And then Microsoft BI came out and things changed. In a hurry. Again. Hey beats the hell out of crystal reports lets be honest....

Military and first respondents. And hunt\fish. And drive tacos I see a common theme here... :)

My first real 4x4 in the late 70's was a FJ55

Again will say I think there is a common theme here..

First programming language in college was APL, IBM A Programming Language and of course FORTRAN. In 1976.

Damn programmers break it we fix it is the Mantra of SysAdmins. No debate about that LOL.

I am the technical specialist for electronic content management systems for the last decade where I work. NEC MultiSync EA275UHD because details matter. Fetal monitoring strips to PET scans, details matter did I mention that?

Mounted on a Ergotron swing arm with extension. Attached to a printer stand with 100 pounds of lead shot attached to the bottom of the stand to stabilize it.

Sitting in my recliner that has a USB port with buttons that control position. And that also charges my keyboard.

Those damn AOL Disks made great targets for the shotgun on the arm of the thrower. And they were free.

Also recall when AOL broke a million subscribers. It was before that Al Gore fellow invented the internet LOL. Usernet was first. Then there was you have mail.

@itzyoboipaul , @Casper66 , and @Mateo74 (by way of @DC 17_3), you all should have received tracking info for your prizes. They have been dropped off and are on their way!

Congrats, again, and thanks to all that participated! This was the biggest turnout for a TW cook-off, yet (at least that I've hosted). We'll do another soon enough!
