Haha to loosely quote @Misplaced Nebraskan ... A bowl of Cheerios and a bottle of Booker's would have qualified for an entry!

Seriously tho.. I hope that no one is afraid to post a picture or participate... And hopefully the next one is without the Rona and TP hoarders! Haha

Like I said earlier, bribe me with a bottle of Booker's Rye and you might get a small stake in the company.

Booker's Rye is the unicorn of all unicorns for me in the world of whiskey. I have but one bottle. I need a second ;).

You know I've been on a Bourbon Hunting trip for months now.. and Booker's is rare around here to begin with.. can't say I've even seen a Rye... Saw a 20-01 the other day but I skipped it since it's a 20 and all that bad juju... But also it was $109!

It came out once in 2016. They don't make a rye ordinarily. Booker Noe put down some rye barrels as an experiment. He passed away before they were ready to bottle, so his son ended up deciding when it was time. It is regarded by many folks as one of the best whiskies (much less ryes) that has been made in the US of A. No official word on how many bottles exist. It is less than 10,000 and likely much less than that. When it released in 2016, it was around $300/bottle. It was immediately worth nearly double that on the secondary market. When I acquired mine, it was valued around $850. It is now valued around $1,400. That said, I'm not trading or selling mine - I'm drinking it when the right opportunity presents itself.

    Tried out your recipe today.
Damn were they good. The stuffing was awesome. Just got figure out a way to keep it from oozing out. The stuff would also be a good spread for crackers.

If you use a small knife like a steak knife to insert into the chops and then work it back and forth and maybe pull it out and reinsert it the opposite way.. make the biggest pocket with the smallest hole. Then you can close the hole with a toothpick while cooking it.

You can put the stuffing in a ziplock bag and cut the corner off to make like a piping bag and squirt the stuffing inside the chop.
