Finally traded in my Trail Diggers after over two years and 42K worth of service. I have to say these tires were awesome. I could not kill these things. For the price they were nothing short of amazing. My only gripe would be that they did get pretty noisy near the end of their life but that is to be expected from a mud terrain. Even with almost no tread they still did their job. Bottom line: would buy again.

Thinnest tire before getting new meats....

A quick question; not being all THAT familiar with the differences in types of tires, would this type of tire work well for mostly road driving, with some gravel roads, but not much true off-road driving, or would something like the KO2s be better?
Also, we do get snow and ice during the winter here, so that's a consideration as well.
Any help will be appreciated, as I will be needing new skins sometime later this year.

If you're not doing any true off-roading I would suggest an AT. Theses are chunky and heavy and your mileage will take a hit.

If you're looking to do only occasional off-roading with the chance of having snow and ice you'd be better to look at the Hercules Terra Trac A/TII or Cooper Discoverer A/T3.
