Did not like the proportions of the DC/SB and the DC/LB is not available in MT. So AC/LB in sport 6MT it was. Traveled to NY from VA to get it after a 3 month search and loving it after 7 months thus far.

Expecting the 4th gen to have a smaller micro door like the '22+ Tundras have - believe the suicide doors will be no longer which is pathetic.

Access cabs are the greatest configuration for my need. My 2006 is an access cab and now I am thinking of trading my 2022 Trail Edition DC for one if I can find a new one at the local dealership. Although I do love my DC for the trail and camping because I can cram the cab full of shit, my daily's need to be an AC.

I needed a regular sort of cab, but with a ton of room behind the 2 front seats for dogs, guns, backpacks and stuff. mission accomplished with the access cab

Access Cab with a manual transmission was the only choice for me, so TRD Sport it was! Count me as anther jealous of the Canuks with their Acces Cab MT Off Roads. Was lucky to find one in MGM when we were looking to trade in our previous ride. Would have liked another color, but MGM works.

Pretty happy with my 2018 AC so far. Love the longer bed. This is my first AC. My last Tacoma was a 1st Gen Dbl cab short bed. The only thing I didn’t like with that truck was the short bed. It was nice having the roomier cab but didn’t really carry a full truck with people very often so this access cab is perfect for me.

If I was to buy another 'Taco to replace my Offroad AC, I would buy a Offroad DC with the long bed.

I wanted a manual and needed a 6-foot bed. The TRD Sport it was. At times I have a love/hate feeling toward this truck. There are so many things Toyota missed the mark on but as you know, there is not another option with a V6, MT, and 6-foot bed. I really hope it stays reliable.

Since I roll solo but sometimes head out for extended periods of time, the ACLB is perfect! Plenty of room for delicate gear up front, easy to sleep in back, can store a poop ton of gear in the bed. Longest stretch away from home is 3-1/2 weeks so far and wanted for nothing. IMG_0671.jpg

A short bed would have run me into the sordid arms of F150

Love my AC! Great adventure and hunting rig. Just got back from a week in Montana hunting birds and my truck was perfect, just wish it had a bigger gas tank/longer range. Pics from last winter in Greer, AZ20211230_155425.jpg IMG_20220101_095047_658.jpg

got rid of my 2019 DCLB for a 2020 trd sport manual AC. Transferred all my mods from one truck to this ond and I couldn’t be happier with the decision.upload_2022-10-24_22-37-18.jpg

Access Cab is the only way to go. I traded my 2015 GMC Canyon for a new Tacoma, the Canyon wasn’t a bad truck and I thought about getting a new one but GM decided to only offer double cabs in the new Canyon/ Colorado. Lucked into my new Tacoma ac with a mt.
