I feel ya man. If it was available in the states I'd have traded yesterday.

 

The majority of access cabs around here are utility pack company vehicles, with a few Sports and 1-2 SR/SR5's.

What style lift did ya use?

I’m wondering about which tire to buy.
I want something more aggressive looking then the stock tire but not wild enough to destroy any fuel mileage I may have left!

 

Had the dealer throw in a bed extender when I bought my 2019 Access cab utility long bed. Hauled a 12 ft Christmas tree with it. Can carry anything pretty much!

 

I debated between the Falkens and these KO2’s, as I had the E rated Falkens on my last Tacoma and really liked them. In the end I decided I could do with the 6 ply BFG’s and maybe get a better ride and an iota of better mpg. I get into the woods, collect and carry a lot of firewood which is why I feel the need for more than stock SL tires.

 

Falken Wildpeaks are a great choice.

What IS your gas mileage with those tires?

 

I’ve only had this package a few weeks and haven’t had the chance for a road trip yet, but for out and about I’m getting about 16-17 mpg.
I have a 5 hour drive coming up so we’ll see what hwy mileage looks like. I’m still debating getting rid of that front spoiler but I hear it adds 1.5-2 mpg on the road and I can use all I can get.

 

If I wasn't sticking the grandkids in the back I'd have bought the red AC at the dealer. The salesman got in the back to show me how much room there was, and I bought a DC. My other Toyota trucks weren't even AC.

 

You’d think the spoiler would help with mpg by reducing the drag of the undercarriage

BUT

Have you ever wondered why Toyota rates the Sport and OR at the same MPG?
Even though the OR has more aggressive tires and NO spoiler?
