gotcha. would have thought that little concern would have been resolved before finish welding the links in

 

Welds grind off very easily and if I'll probably have to move them for the atlas install anyways. an entire new crossmember will have to be built. not that i'm complaning

I am still baffled by that. How exactly do you design a link set up to do that.

 

Lots of flex in the front and lots of flex in the rear. You have to realize that half of that flex is from the rear because the cab is pitched over at about a 45 to get the axles to cross.

I think you have to get pretty fancy with your C/O mounts to be able to achieve this as well. Some sort of way to left the mounts swivel because I don't think you are going to get quite that much left to right articulation out of a standard uniball.

You may even have to get fancy with how you mount your link ends so they don't have the same issue.

 

link ends should be an issue my links have 120 degrees of total flex before they bind. C/O mounting is no big deal either the links keep the axle centered through it's movement keeping the C/O's strait under the bod. Problem he is having is the tires at into the C/O's. more flex than ill have but at the same time in not on rock wells either.
