    Would you consider loading fewer photographs per post? That first page was a huge challenge to load for those of use without unlimited bandwidth.

    But yeah, I know what you're getting at - the first time you load that page, it's gonna be slow.

    That is a big nope right there mmy friend. Especially when the first page in the thread has ~300 photos in it. :oops:

    And it happens every time the page is opened, not just the first time. I tied it just now. It took over 5 minutes to load page one. Spread them out a bit. No more than 60-80 per page. You'll get a lot more views from folks too because they wont be afraid to open the thread.

    Huh. Sounds like your browser cache isn't working correctly. Once you load a photo once, it should get stored in your cache and not have to download again. I just loaded the first page and it was about 25 seconds.

    But don't worry, I'll try to spread them out a bit.

    I've gotten complaints about it in trip reports which is why I do one chapter per page now. Granted now it's like 200 photos a chapter... haha
