    25000 miles per year

    @20mpg = 1250 gallons x $2.75/gallon = $3438 per year fuel

    if you lose just 2mpg on fancy tires or a lift...

    @18mpg = 1389 gallons x $2.75/gallon = $3820 per year fuel

    ...or roughly $380 luxury tax per year

    ...if your roof rack loses you 1mpg that’s another $190 a year...its price essentially doubles every 3 years.

    ...air dam removal? Minus 1 mpg
    ...throttle mod? Minus 1mpg
    ...alcoholism? Minus 1mpg

    ...the moral of the story is you pay over $500 a year to not be a badass. 23mpg my ass!

    Conclusion...drive a Ford Festiva

    Please don't remind me how much I spend on gasoline. 1 year and 4 months, 30,000 miles. Ugh. I average about 20mpg. No sick tires, no tent.

    You have to factor in that gas causes cancer in California. How much will cancer treatments cost?

    How does your math work out if the truck earns me approximately $13/mile driven? How many luxury items can I afford?

    so if you got like 22mpg like Toyota advertised you would save double that a year.

    it’s messed up.

    oof. I get 18.5 in the summer, with a crazy amount of weight and a non-aero layout.

    have you tried the OV Tune? That seemed to give me a good 2 mpg back.
