Jason is the local badass when it comes to all things Toyota. His Total Chaos LT Tacoma is a beast in the dirt and his new Land Cruiser project is no slouch. This is one of my closest friends and one of the only people I trust to work on my rig.

A.P.E is the new shop on the block here in Phoenix and making huge leaps in the TW community. With Stefen being the walking billboard of all things awesome it will certainly help these guys become the shop to go get work done in AZ.

Yesterday my truck was supposed to be left behind. After talking with Tommy, and taking advice from many others, I drove back to Tucson yesterday with a new plan in mind! I'll definitely be exercising the phrase, "Buy Once, Cry Once" ;) TommyGun Fabrication is still gunna straighten and box my frame, but instead of pulling the bed twice and relocating bumps, we're gunna do it once and install a DMZ kit with ADS 16" BLACK Triple Bypasses as well!

Now I just need to log out of TW so I can afford to buy all this shit within the next 2 months......

Tell me about it. These forums end up costing you a damn arm and leg, but if you want to do it right, the knowledge and the money is what is required to do it right. Since you are doing work you shoulf check out your radiator support. Make sure you dont have any ridiculous cracking going on in there seeing as you drive your truck as hard as I do.

Those are nice! No spherical bearings up top though? What's with that?

I really do need to take off all my bumpers and armor to get a better look at everything. I'm sure it is cracked. But not quite sure, these are just a pic I saved from their facebook page, most likely not for a tacoma

Oh!! Ok ok had me wondering there for a sec. Examine you stuff good man. Relocate the battery to beneath or inside the bed if you have to, actually. You need to. Don't even need to remove the armor, just look for this kind of stuff. The core support goes and you are going to have some serious issues man.

Get a shock tower crossmember brace too for the front end as well. It's just as important as relocating the battery. If you do have cracks in the support (which im positive you do) get your fabricator to build you brackets to reinforce it. You don't want that bulkhead falling out on you, as it also holds the hood in place as well!

Yeah I'm staying MT for sure in the front end. LT is just too much damn money, but im gonna make sure all rhis stuff gets tentatively done because I want to be able to do what I like to and not have to worry about it breaking later on down the road.

My radiator supports and behind the headlights were pulling apart and came off in my hands in chunks. Reason I went full engine cage and not crops braces.

There is a spherical bearing in there. Those are basically rubber washers "wobble stoppers" to help keep the shock from shiftingbc back and forth in the mount.

That's some groundbreaking, high speed, unheard of shit right there. I still can't visualize it on a vehicle, but I like it.

I liked the 4.56s for sure but these toyos are pretty damn heavy, I just figured why not and went with 4.88s. Jason also said he liked his, then I got to drive his truck with em. After driving on mine for about 300miles I definitely have no regrets! Just waiting till they're broken in so I can really test em out ;):burnrubber:
