Thanks man  Honestly between the quality and type of shocks ADS provides (progressive), they will be better than your Icons IMO. You could very easily have ADS build a 10" 2.0 or even a 2.5 with piggyback resis and would be an amazing difference. Even further you could add the clicker adjusters to the resis, giving you 20 settings to change the dampening/way the shocks feel in different applications

I'm going to play the devils advocate here.

I'm sure he would feel a big difference from Icon to ADS but he can notice a similar difference by going the more cost effective route with a revalve. The guy said he's retired, going out and dumping 3k in all new ADS may not be worth it especially if the truck doesnt see much dirt. A revalve would be a few hundred bucks and yeild him a more enjoyable ride.

Take a look at Bill, he is getting ready to revalve his Icons.

Understandable but I don't know where you're getting the crazy 3k number from, unless he's gunna buy front and rear. If hes looking at rear shocks like he mentioned, he's gunna be closer to the $1700 range for a brand new set of 2.5 piggybacks. Selling his Icons would also offset this cost :) Going all out for a similar front setup to mine with clickers...even that's in the $2200 range

We both know that if someone goes to ADS rears. They will soon follow with fronts :)

In the end, whatever makes you happy. Can't take the money with you and leaving it for kids to blow away on whatever isn't as fun ;)

I am looking to change out my Icon's front and rear I just wanted to start with the rear and from what I have read ADS is a cut above the rest. I appreciate the suggestions because this will be my last change for my suspension although I am on a budget I can purchase a set at a time because now that is all I have. Thanks for all the advice and suggestions I realy do appreciate it.

How do you like your Dirt King UCAs? Seems to be a fair price. I'm looking for new ones.

For heimed ucas, I don't think you can beat the price man! Even tho it is a pain to adjust them since you have to take them off the truck first, having that ability to correct camber is really nice!

Also went out on a quick prerun last night after a big storm! Cool weather, fun wheeling, plenty of light, and my girl by my side  Best time of the year is upon us!

Those shock mounts look good. Doesn't look like it takes up a bunch of bed space.

Used 3M double sided tape, cut into little pieces to fit the emblem and replace the old stuff

So last weekend I canceled the official Florence to Oracle Junction run so that the fiancée and I could check it out for ourselves and explore. I definitely have a better grasp on what lies ahead for future runs! This area is pretty damn big and provides so many cool trails, @mh.meier tagged along with us and we turned it into a pretty successful prerun/camping trip

    Swing out tire gates FTW!

Bro-lean status with all my camping gear! But it road like a damn Cadillac and put a smile on my face every time we hit rough terrain

After 30ish miles we found a nice hilltop overlook of the valley north of Oracle and took some poser shots

Then 1 more of that epic lean! :oldglory:

After we made it back to Oracle Junction, we drove to Oracle and continued on up the Mt. Lemmon Control road to find a place to camp. As always it was a fun, but with all the weekend traffic it's not so much a prerun/go fast style trail. Luckily Mike knew of what I considered to be the best camping spot on the mountain, hidden from all the traffic and campers during the busy weekend! I'll just let the pictures speak for themselves...

...but first lets start with some brauts! :dancingbacon:

    Rinzler Camp

and the whole campground all to ourselves! :)
