Agreed. Took me about an hour of off-road driving to get out there. It'll probably take Stephen no time. I was babying the hell out of my truck since it can't handle too well with my suspension.

hey man, you have an incredible build going here. I like everything about your truck man.
one question though, where did you get your black center console? you say it is from a 2013 but I have tried and tried to find one online but can't. is it painted or is it factory black plastic? I need one bad...thanks.

Thanks man! It is indeed a stock oem black center console from a 2013. I took it from @JTS2014TACO prerunner before he traded it in for his old 4x4 ;)

LOVING the truck. I was a little bit regretting that I got a pre-runner in stead of a 4x4, but after seeing this your build and how many trails you go on, I'm starting to not regret it. I definitely using your truck as a inspiration on my build.

It's very true, Stefen makes the 2wd look capable of things that are close to 4wd capability, but out of clear observation it also seems that Stefen just loves to have fun and drive the hell of of his truck and for that I applaud him and others who dare to adventure. Nice work Stefen.

Definitely not in the near future, but possibly in the long run after ive got my truck exactly where I want it. When the next big mods come hopefully around the end of next year into 2017, I'll have a better idea where Rinzler is headed. That being full 3.5" Dirt King LT front...or keeping the MT, adding secondary bypasses, bumps, and engine cage followed by the 4x4 with FJ crawler....so many BIG decisions to make. The rear is done except for getting some new heavier duty leaf packs from Deaver

Most definitely, hopefully we could meet up so I could look at the truck in person and maybe I can get some tips in mods and such.

Turkey Creek/Aravaipa Canyon Camping Trip November 6-8th, 2015

Yet another epic trip setup by @JeepAndrew and certainly one all of us will never forget! As always Turkey Creek offers some fantastic scenery, even though we went earlier this year in March, it was nice to enjoy the perfect cool weather. Prior to our trip, it rained for almost 2 days straight in the area, leaving the much higher in elevation, Mt. Graham, snowcapped as my dad and I were headed North from Willcox. Gunna have to plan a trip up there in the future!

Found some mud along the way:D
    [IMG]

With a full load of gear, adding some very wet firewood made the rear end pretty squatty o_O
    [IMG]

First to camp...again!:p And it definitely made it interesting paving the way through all the mud bogs no one had touched yet. My tires look camouflage. I will also note, while my dad and I were looking for our camp spot this year, he made a couple statements about how this spot "didn't feel right", and since it was Thursday he said it gave him an "eerie feeling" to camp in that huge spot when no one would be there till the next day...

Much better! Definitely my new favorite camp spot to date, and next to my truck is a natural misting waterfall, which dripped and ran all night. Lets just say I slept a solid 10 hours!

We....... **EPIC PAUSE** (while waving arms and jumping around)..........have made FIRE!:goingcrazy::bananadead: This was definitely no joke, we made the mistake of forgetting to bring dry wood. It took a solid hour to get a small flame going (without cheating) and just before the temp began to drop we had a nice fire. I love camping out with my dad, although my stubbornness causes us to butt heads at times, I still continue to this day to learn from him. It's always good practice to know you can build a fire using the basics. We also built up a wall to direct the fire back at the rock ledge we sit in front of, and I named the fire pit "Star Trek: Enterprise" for reasons....

And another shot of the rock wall and waterfall. Ruggedized Orange not so subtle here.... buuut Rinzler!

The next morning was pretty surreal. We initially woke up to some Turkeys gobbling away somewhere close by. Once we got up, made some coffee and sat down next to the little fire that was left, we heard running water. I was certain the sound wasn't there the day before and it was pretty loud, enough to hear over the small one right next to my truck.

The culprit...only about 40 yards from our camp across the road...

A 50ft Waterfall. Who would have thought...we just figured all the rainfall took its time and waited till we were there to appreciate its awesomeness! My dad really loved the time we got to spend out there, but unfortunately work wouldn't let him stay for all the weekend shenanigans. This resulted in a very busy and long day. I drove 3 hours back to Tucson, dropped him off, picked up the fiancée and my buddy Ryan, then drove 2 hours and 25min back to camp! I owned Operation:Back Door Penetration! lol

Of course this all took place on the same morning we initially awoke to what I thought was someone blowing up tannerite at the big campsite around the bend. I shrugged it off and fell asleep for alittle while longer before Eric and Quinton fired up a vehicle that could be heard from miles away!...lol. They hauled ass over to our camp to tell us the biggest tree in that big camp had fallen! Not only fell, but landed on 2 trucks and nearly killed @Brian007Taco who had to be cut out of his tent! Luckily everyone walked away without injury, but I immediately remembered that "eerie feeling" my dad had the day before! So strange how everything panned out. I snapped some pics as Andrew was towing Brian back out to the town of Klondyke, and I'll quote myself "Never have I seen a license plate so fitting...."

Thank you Stefen for sharing your awsome adventures with us I really appreciate how you do such great mods on your truck and are not afarid to use it, you are one of my heroes on TW. It reminds me of when I was a younger man I camped out quite a bit I had a 22R at the time.
