On the OP says you need to add member name in comment section. Never saw a comment section so I shot them a email. Hopefully it doesn't get canceled.

Question is for the halos (switchbacks) what colors do they put out. 55k or more 45k I got 55 hopefully color is not to off.

Switchbacks are in the 5500-6000K range, so just a slight blue hue.

The comments section is right there during checkout. :)

ok here is what I am planning on purchasing:

    - The recommended Mini D2S 3.0
    - O lens projectors for LHD
    - H4 MotoControl
    - Black sealant (or should I get gray?)
    - G37 shrouds
    - 100mm or 110mm halos to match the DRL color
    - XB35 - 35w - 4500K

    am I missing anything?

I plan on adding some desiccants somewhere hidden to absorb any potential moisture, Andrew your thoughts???

Sounds like a good plan. I used the black sealant but if I were to do it again I would go grey only because grey is the colour toyota uses (OCD thing) lol

So I figured out that only the passenger side was shaking. I pulled the housing to look at it more closely and I noticed that most of the movement is at the little square plastic fittings that snap into the black plastic frame. I jammed some thin zip tie tips into all the spaces I could find and then snipped off the extra. It sits solid now. As it turns out none of the movement seems to be in the projector assembly.

Does anybody know if the demon eye kit that trs sells fits the FX-R projector? It says it fits the mini H1 and D2S but it doesn't say if it will work for the FX-R.

So what are you guys doing to keep the stock lens clear? I recently used the Mother's Headlight Restorer kits because the lens were cloudy. I am thinking of buying new housings (aftermarket).

Part of the picture is cut off but the parts I can see do look good. My only tip if you want to call it that is to really take your time on the painting. I gave myself an entire weekend to finish everything off, although it didn't actually take that long.

Also I baked ALL of the painted components prior to sealing off the headlights just to ensure I didn't get any off gassing once the headlights were sealed back together.

For sure. How long and at what temp did you bake the painted parts? Also care to PM me and let me know how you wired up the halo?
