@TRSAndrew how are the profile bi-lens LEDs for our 2nd gen housings? Really wanting to pull the trigger on a set

Anybody use the Mini H1's with out any issues? Or are the d2s pretty much drop in. I had a kit set up that included halo's and the controller for 400 bucks flat with the mini h1 set up

 

I used the D2S 5.0 in a 2005-2011 housing without much modification. Hardest part was grinding down the back of the headlight so the nut that holds the projector to the housing would sit flat. Light output is amazing though, definitely worth it!

 

I think that's all you have to do for the h1, but the h1 is a little cheaper so I'll probably go with that and a 70mm halo. I think it looks good. Going for this look

 

In stealing your paint scheme lol. What set up is it in the white and black 05-11 headlight? In doing the mini h1 and 70mm halo

 

Ah found your build. Wonder how this would look with the smaller projector

 

Honestly man with the little 70mm it will look small in this big housing

 

First post but I need help.
I have a 2010 Taco Double Cab, I need to find a headlight assembly to retrofit since my stock one has a pretty bad burn from the DRL.

Where should I buy new assemblies and how do turn off the DRL so this doesn't happen again?

@TRSAndrew Seems like my wiring harness stopped sending power to one ballast on my bike. It's the Morimoto H7 dual motocycle harness. One side works fine, the other has no power at the plug on ballast end. No visual problems with the wires (not melted or cut) Any ideas?

 

Is the retrofitsource still operating? I emailed them about week and a half ago and no response. I called the number online also no one seems to answer. I bought a led headlight bulbs for a 3rd gen Taco and one side went out and was looking to see what could be done
