    They are the same 4300k burners used by the auto manufacturers.

    crap bolted and welded together....
    whats the best shroud to fit over the H1's to cover the projector the best?

    I've seen a few, apollo and gattling.I don't mine the fine tuning of the shrouds, just trying to find the one that requires the less cutting to sit almost factory against the headlight bowl.

    Apollo on the D2S requires no trimming and you can't see the gap.

    Yes they are very good bulbs and well worth it. Just placed an order for them. Can't wait to start retrofitting the new ride!!

    Absolutely "will"

    It's way too much for the H1, and though some used to run them in the D2S, a couple of members have had issues with them melting the chrome off of the bowl.

    If you really need 55w (all of the OEM systems are 35w), then the FX-R is the only way to go.
