Today, May 21st 2025, I just took delivery of my, 2001 Radiant Red DC 4WD TRD Tacoma with 215,000 miles. Also the previous owner had some incredibley well chosen modifications I probably would have done so myself!

if anyone is familiar with this truck or knows who the previous owner is, please let me know! I’d love to talk to them. it spent most of its life in Topeka, KS and a few years in Fort Worth, TX.

A big thanks to some of the other guys and gals that chimed in on my other thread while I was searching for this taco.

Current Modifications
(from what I can gather):
- Toytec/Eibach front 3" lift coilovers
- SPC Adjustable Upper Control Arms
- OME Dakar 2.25” Rear Leaf Pack
- ToyTec Boss Extended Rear Shocks
- 3rd gen TRD-OR 16” wheels
- BFG KO2 32’s (255/75/16)
- All-Pro kick out sliders (welded)
- All-pro reinforcement frame plates (welded)
- Flowmaster “FLOWFX” muffler with custom high clearance tubing
- “BOSS” audio head unit with CarPlay
- “CORBEAU” leather bucket seats
- 20% tint all around + sunroof
- Plasti-dip badges (front/sides)
- de-badged the tailgate
- WeatherTech Tan floor mats
- BullHide spray in bed liner
- OEM flip-out bed extender
- 3rd gen. rubber truck bed mat

thanks man! It feels like cheating this time I get to start with a Tacoma that is already built to where I want it! Doesn’t seem fair! Previous owner did such a great job.

I noticed today some fluid leaking from the passenger side CV axel. Looks like it probably needs a new sealer but I’m not very familiar with 4wd components.

I have an appointment with a local Toyota Service center so I’m sure it’ll get the full look over.
