They are building one, called the crown signia, and it looks DOPE

though as part of the crown line it’ll be in a different price range than the Outback

I’ve always considered Crowns to be yakuza and politician cars.

Oh that is right, forgot about that. It doesn’t look bad either.

Yeah price wise will put it above the Outback buyer. It is odd they don’t have direct competitor with it. Consider the RAV4 somewhere between a Cross Trek and a Forester.

I'm curious of the weight comparison... Tacoma v. LC . The LC will be heavier? Hmmm

The Gx is roughly 5400-5800 lbs for an example. I wouldn't be surprised if it the Taco combined mileage is 26-27

What’s the size of the new LC compared to a 4Runner? Has anyone seen them parked side by side?

Thought the same, Tacoma might gain 1-2 mpgs being a smidge lighter. Should fetch decent mpgs, but won’t save you any money. :)

Should be a little bigger. Haven’t seen any side by side comparisons.

Bigger would be better. I’m on a snowboarding trip right now with the 4Runner and it’s tight with all of the snowboard gear and luggage. A Sequoia would be best but they are too damn expensive.

A previous generation Sequoia maybe, I sat in and crawled all over a 2024 Platinum Sequoia yesterday and that thing is not built for any kind of cargo, it was a hot mess!

If that extra width equals more interior space will be nice. I’m surprised it has an inch less ground clearance.

The 4 runner is a deceptively capable off roader.

Yeah the hybrid battery really screwed up the storage area.

I think the LC cargo area is also going to be affected by the battery, it probably won't be as easy to have a flat floor and sleep in it if you need or have to as the 4 runner, but it may translate into better cargo carrying depending on your cargo.

Light duty "land cruisers' shouldn't be branded as Land Cruisers in the USofA.

    Boo to Toyota.
