It will be pretty lame to have a big bad ass SUV with a little 4 banger engine in it. The previous Land Cruiser had the 5.7 V8.

Still pretty lame though. Hopefully it at least gets a V6.

I miss the turbo diesel up armored land cruiser I had when I was deployed. Felt like I could tow a semi with how much torque that thing had.

This will be the new LC Prado, not the update version of current LC300, it's little bit smaller than LC300, but very similar to 4runner. I am guessing they might replace it by Prado.

It doesn’t look terrible. Tuesday we’ll see the real thing. I wonder if the embargo will end Monday.

I sold my Corvette for more than I paid for it. Crazy times when you can buy a car and just pay for insurance, oil and gas.

So I have GX 550, Land Cruiser, or 4Runner money ready.

If it's not a 4 banger I will consider it. The new Taco is off my list because I don't think towing 5000 lbs up mountains with a 4 cylinder is a good match.

Nice! I have my lifted trail beater 94 and my all stock project 95 that I bought off the original owner with a bad headgasket. Both are 3xlocked. I see you're in NJ, you know a guy named Liam? He offroads a 80 and buys, sells & parts out 80's in NJ.
