I'm looking for a 3 inch lift for my 3rd gen SR5 tacoma. I haul more weight than I should occasionally, I off road when I can and I spend most of my time on the highway, to and from work. Any suggestions on an appropriate lift?

5100's with a coil that gives you the weight/lift ratio that you desire, UCAs if over 2" (or if you want to be able to get ideal alignment geometry at any lift), full leaf pack of your choice for the rear and the 5160 bilstein are a great, pavement friendly choice for the rear that can still handle the offroad chunk. Fill in the gaps with ECGS bushing and rear axle angled shims as necessary.

BTW, 3" on a 3rd gen is pushing it for stock arms, ball joints, axles, etc. Are you trying to get 3" over the SR or over the TRD OR?

How much do you want to spend? I really wanted to do the extended travel king shocks but they are 2500 bucks plus 600 for new upper control arms, whatever you want for rear lift (blocks, leaf) and then of course it has to be installed and you need new wheels/tires so figure another 2000 bucks. Instead I ordered the eibach kit for 1k lol. I'll live with it leveled and 32" tires.

Eibach pro lift will lift ya up to 3 inches. Really affordable ($600+ labor) if you dont plan on off roading too often or too extreme

I'm a fan of OLD MAN EMU, has worked well for me. Mostly pavement and offroad about 5-6 times a year. Can be bought for $1200 or so. They offer soft-med-heavy springs for weight. I have used OME on Jeeps, Land Rovers and now my Taco and all have had a great ride, and do well offroad. I think i have bought most of my kits and parts from Rockyroadoutfitters.com other than my upper control arms.
