Thank you! I've thought about leaving Utah for 8 years and I still have yet to do it. It's just too great a place for the adventurist. But hey, if you ever come out to visit, I'll be your tour guide!

Well moab is definitely on my bucket list and then like Arches, Canyonlands, Brice, not sure if I'm spelling all those correctly but I'm sure you know where I'm talking about. I'm just worried when I do come I may never leave hahaha true story

I spent my Sunday doing some delightfully naughty things...

    20170219_093452.jpg

Front 2.5" Kings and TC UCA's from "the_yeti_off_road" off of Instagram.
2.5" Rear Kings from Dantwenty2 off of tacomaworld.

To be honest, I NEVER imagined I'd end up with full King setup. That was never my goal. But sometimes things work out in ways you never expect.

Yup. Glad I brought the extra pair of panties.

Notice any difference? Driver side is completed.

8 hours later due to no freaking power tools, Ronan rolled back out of the shop sitting just a little prettier.

Those peek-a-boo colors make me very happy.

That's wicked awesome I'm planning on a very similar set up myself. Congrats on a kick-ass suspension now go play in the dirt somewhere hahaha

Did some custom work on Ronan over the weekend.

Friday night was spent at Decorative Metalworks' shop creating a rack mount for the rear lights. I had picked up some Genesis cube flood lights and Krewella amber bars (dust lights) off Amazon. Switches came from OTRATTW.

    The Before..

    20170303_195504.jpg

    The After..

    20170303_230657.jpg

Noah did a really solid job on the fabrication. Sturdy as hell! We will coat that sucker in lining down the road. Any suggestions on what I should put in the center???

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For wiring these bad boys, I spent Sunday in Audio Pro's shop ripping apart and dremelling the front panels. With having a removable bed rack, the single most important feature I wanted is to have the wiring detach also. We accommodated this by drilling a marine grade twist plug into the upper driver-side corner of the bed (pictures coming soon). We ran all the wiring along the frame and up into the cab.

    20170305_170059.jpg

Since we were already in wiring mode, I brought the Low Range e-locker wiring harness to wire up as well. The locker is going in at the end of this month but at least now the switch is all done up!

I would have to relocate one of the stock switches since I wasn't too keen on cutting extra holes in any of the panels on that left side. (One day I might just move to the SPOD system... we'll see). I relocated the stock bed inverter to the center dash panel next to the USB port / cig lighters (I'll get a photo of this later too). This relocation required very specific trimming (since I'm a perfectionist) so the whole panel had to be take out and I meticulously dremelled the exact size of that switch - which is much bigger than those tiny-ass square ones.

The new gang - lower independents.

    The stock before...

    _DSC5883-1019x680.jpg

    The upgraded after..

    20170306_080825.jpg

Everything was sautered, heat shrink wrapped, loom covered - meticulous attention to the details. When it looks like it was professionally done, I think that's an 8 hours well spent. Eventually I want to get the Blue Sea fuse block and clean up the engine bay wiring a bit. Hell, might as well get the dual battery setup while I'm at it!

I'll snag a photo of those rear lights in action when I can.

This weekend I'm heading to Zions NP / Southern Utah to test out that new suspension!!! :mudding:
