So much happening on the driver side..

 

Well it works..

 

Was supposed to be camping this weekend. But since state parks and forests are closed didn’t get to go. So, we had a fire in the backyard which we made dinner on, and then my son and I “camped” out there.

 

LOL, did the same thing. REI Kingdom8 is in the backyard for camping at home. Can't get trailer back there.

What did you end up doing. I may be in the same dilemma. I think I may have a welder fabricate some spacers or bracket to use when I need the tent.

 

We had a good time. My boy did the hammock for the first time. And it rained. Kid just curled up in his bag when he felt the rain on his face and went back to sleep!

 

Allegheny NF and George Washington NF are both about the same drive for me 3-4hrs each. For a weekend trip that’s getting to be a long drive. We’ll see what the situation is middle of the month and maybe I’ll make that drive though.

check your local outdoor shop. mine had tepui tents 20% off. they blew through most of their stock in a day, lol

 

Desert Armor Shop is having their spring sale.

 

Tepui was running a good sale when their warehouse in Bay Area was shut down for Covid.
They stated that the sale would resume when they get opened back up (may 31 now I believe) if you’re still looking at months end.
You should consider a used one, I picked up an Ayer 2 locally, for a Really good price due to this Covid stuff.
