:rofl:same path that I took. I have the FSR A49 automatic hardshell. I love FSR, this is my 3rd one. Ive also had a Roofnest. Was not a fan of how they riveted everything.

I can get you 10% off FSR.

...Our plan - at least at the beginning - was to hit up the Owyhee Uplands Backcountry Byway, a ~100 mile journey from Grand View, Idaho to Jordan Valley, Oregon, exploring several areas along the way. From there, we'd find our way to places we'd been before - finally (hopefully) getting to soak in Three Forks Hot Springs and see the south side of Jordan Craters. And then we'd head even further west and south - out of Owyhee - to the Alvord Desert and Pueblo Mountains, in search of a B-24 Liberator crash site from 1945....

I just learned that National Forests near me are "open" for dispersed camping.

I haven’t used them yet but they appear to be pretty solid. They are thinner just like maxtrax so they stack really well

I'm curious as well. I almost want to pull the trigger on them now since they are offering an introductory price on them. My only concern is that they are about 7 lbs lighter than a set of Maxtrax. Let us know how these hold up. What are your first impressions of them?
