An unusually high amount of pinstriping.
The ladder is the main support for that side of the tent. Think of it as a support column on a cantilevered deck.

Received my FSR high country 55 Friday, slapped it on a set of front runner bars and tried to find a spot that was open. Ended up finding one with no campers but had a couple people come to the top to check the sunset out. Tent did very well considering wind speeds got in the 30’s. 6D61646F-3F1E-45B8-BF5A-AFB942DD3BF1.jpg 5CE7BA47-3946-4EB4-BCDF-2229F1AB3570.jpg

Actually, the hinge supports a LOT of the weight. I once forgot my ladder at home and still slept in my tent just fine. Wouldn't go pushing that though..

My Tepui is bolted directly to my RCI rack instead of around the rack using the provided plates. It hasn’t budged a bit in almost two years.

I'm still on a stock set up. I haven't had the need to replace yet. Eventually, I want to add a second battery for lighting. Not sure if I'll go marine or not. Can't decide if I want it behind the rear seats or bed, but most likely inside. I've kind of decided to just make it work this year, and hopefully this winter get into figuring out an auxiliary system with solar charging capabilities. I have a couple of rust control items and maintenance I want to tackle this summer.

Do you have a pic of the cab side? What height is your rack and how close to the cab is the RTT? Any issues opening the front window? Love the setup

Are you able to open the front window with that setup?
