I got out yesterday up in Walden CO... fishing was tough but the scenery was great.

I snagged the Smittybilt XL (with an annex) last fall on Amazon. I think its a great entry level tent from my research, used it a few times so far. If your unsure about RTT's they are nice cheap tents to give them a try. If you watch the sales they sometimes drop a couple hundred bucks every now and then. I have seen the overlander (smaller) as low as $625.

Hello, try searching Tepui tent. Or CVT tent. I had better luck with specific wording. I found mine in marketplace down here in Pennsylvania. I did travel 4 hours to get it!

The new smittybilt gen 2 over lander looks pretty nice. Any thoughts on gen 1 owners vs the specs of 2?

Is anyone aware of a company that repairs Roof top tents in WA? I had a plastic frame bracket break and a frame pole bent

Just picked up a CVT Mt. Bachelor. This is my first RTT and I'm super pumped for it to get here. Any tips/things I should know before I get out there? Anyone else have a Mt. Bachelor? I'm hoping the old lady and I can fit comfortably.

I’m interested in the new Mt. Hood they’re coming out with. Would just need to figure out a rack to accommodate it.

I just put a KB Voodoo 10" Max modular on mine and I know for sure those work with CVT tents. The guy I bought the rack from had a CVT tent on it. Unless they changed the mounting points on the Mt. Hood, it should work. KB also has some bed bars that will work at a much cheaper price than the max mod.

    Bone f’n stock for now
Finally after months of want and pros cons back and forth I got a rtt. Picked a barely used H.E.O that is being used in a show To show off their trailers for a steal. It will be back here sometime in the next two weeks. Now to reinforce my shell and get everything ready. Just in time for my bday and annual camping trip

The Mt. Hood is the hard shell RTT that CVT is going to start selling. The challenge is that it's 85" long, so it needs a rack that can get it above the shark fin.

I looked at KB Voodoo's site and it looks like their modular 22" rack might work, but I don't see that it will fit a Tacoma.

That thing is a beast. One of the drop down options for the 22” says you can get the t slot nuts for the Tacoma. It should work then.

    Yeah, I know, right.

Anyone switch from a soft top to a hard top? I have currently have the Shasta, which is fantastic, but would like the simplicity that the hard top provides.

I switched from FSR m49 to A49. Its so easy to click a button on the fob, rather than unhooking 12 hooks and finding a dry place to put the cover ;)

There's mine. Not the most attractive when it's down, but the hardtop is great. Only complaint is with the way it's mounted on the canopy I've got to get creative with the awning situation. Luckily I've got something cool in the works
