I just drilled holes every 6 inches for a couple feet. Always able to find holes or adjust the angle of the ladder accordingly.

Eric I measured my ladder and it looks like it would mount to your tent just fine. The ladder sits about 3" off the base of the tent when it's folded up. The tubes of the telescoping ladder are roughly 2" diameter and there is a small rubber pad to keep the ladder from resting directly on the tent base. It might be close enough that it would fit in your garage but it looks like it might still be tight.

If you decide to give it a shot let me know. The telescoping ladder is a nice upgrade from the sliding one anyway. Looks like they run $125 but they're out of stock for a couple weeks. Should be back in by mid-August.

Thanks for the info. I know a local with a telescoping ladder. Let me see if I can borrow his to test the fit then I will know for sure. Looks like I might have a bit of time since they are out of stock at the moment. Thanks for checking.

    Hey guys,

I just ordered my Tepui Kukenam Sky today from another TW member "Box Rocket", I was wondering if someone could let me know of the spacing for the bolt down locations on the bottom so I can start to design up a rack to mount it on.

    Thanks!

One of you probably measured inside edge to inside edge of the rails, and the other measured center to center.

Any tips/tricks/best practice on installing the anti-condensation mat. I thought I read somewhere that you cut it in half so it doesn't shift when folding the tent but I've also seen pictures where the tent is folded and the mat is in one piece.

mine came in 2 pieces. the one problem that I have with it (and haven't done anything about it yet) is that when folding or unfolding the tent it can slide out through the hole when the floor hinges. last time I packed it up i folded the mattress in half and put the mat on top of it so when the tent folds it just folds on top of them. I'm sure there would be a decent way to secure it to the floor though.

I setup the tent, placed a single piece of condensation mat under the mattress, and zip tied the four corners to the nearest post/bracket. Doesn't slip out when folding the tent away.
