Thats a single. yea, there isnt much space. Like maybe and inch at most for space to leave gear. Kris at CVT showed me the difference at their store in Vegas. So I went with the double.
You can see, on the lower half I have two sets of T-tracks. Hence the new "double" name.

    Not much stock left.
That’s just it. I don’t have anything in it besides the foam mattress it came with. It’s hard AF to close the last inch or two.

Using stuff I already had on hand I wired in some usb outlets and some lights. I was able to route the power cord on the bed bar and used some gorilla tape for the last foot or so until it goes up in the tent. I may refine it later in because as of now, it’s just a cigarette lighter extension cord with a usb plug taped in the end. It works though and works well.

Oh damn. Well, yea its probably the air having to be pushed out. If you want the thicker style. I think they do a sort of trade in. Can try that. The way Kris explained it to me, is that even if you left a sheet in there it'd be hard to close. I see your issue.

No problems with the wires when you fold up the tent?

Nope! There’s enough slack in it but not enough to get caught on anything.

Nice. I like it. Going to add this to the list; cross one thing off and add two more.

I'm still so confused about what exactly they mean by hybrid. Do you have any more pictures of the cover?

It has no zipper. Diamond plate top. The cover is built in to the tent and not a separate piece. It has crossbars ontop to carry stuff while you have the tent mounted. It’s actually very handy. Cover just folds over side and clips in.Here are some more pics

The clip that hold the bottom of the cover, does it seem adequate for keeping dust and other crap out?

The elastic around the sides is superrrrrr tight and will definitely keep dust and stuff out. You do t really even need the clips. Plus the tent just has nicer materials than the pioneer series

Oh my! I had assumed they would still have a zipper so I haven't looked at them. I HATE the zipper on my soft cover. It gets dusty and jams right up. Worst (and really the only bad) part of setting up the tent. Well... The annex zipper sucks too, but it stays a lot cleaner than the zipper on the cover.

Nope no zipper. That’s why it’s a hybrid cross between hardshell and softshell. Diamond plate top with cover built into top.

Sure you dont have any of tent material caught anywhere along the edges when youre trying to close?

What about trying to tuck all of that fabric into the tent. Do you fold it in neatly, or just stuff it all in? I notice that can make a big different how well my RTT closes up

I just use an external battery pack. One that you would use to charge your phone.

I thought about that but I'm camping on the biggest battery I own, my truck lol

Never need to worry about remembering to charge it before a trip. Plus I use this to run a USB fan overnight and I don't know how much battery I'd need for that.

    Very true! lol
I just like the simplicity of a little battery pack. Plus a little less work if you don't have power running to the back like you do.

Agreed. I had that 12v there because I used to have my fridge in the bed and it wasn't being utilized anymore so I thought I'd put it to use. I went down a rabbit hole and almost bought a jackery before coming to my senses and spent $5 on this project instead of $200.
