    Yeah.
The CVT Shasta cover would likely work.

Got the hog out this weekend with son.
The river in picture 2, we crossed on our way out... Nothing major, but the day before a fucking Subaru tried to smash through it and flooded their engine halfway through... had to get towed out.
Found the car the next day with flowers at the front end. RIP.

First two nights complete in the 23zero walkabout 56. Due to an order mix-up, spent some time in the breezeway before switching over to the walkabout. The overhang of the walkabout makes the whole tent feel much larger. Tight fit but made it work with two people and two dogs.

Finally warmed up enough just in time for Turkey season down in SW Wisconsin, so we got our Tepui Kukenam ruggedized on top of the new RSI topper. Really happy to have the bed space with the topper instead of the old RCI rack, with the added bonus of having a topper designed for heavier loads up top.

Does anyone have a wedge RTT mounted over the cab instead of bed? If so can I get some pictures of it closed and open?

How does everyone there store their "Essentials" for a quick trip... Right now, I have one of those 100 gallon igloo coolers with clothes, emergency kits, binos...etc..etc.. Cant keep that in the truck at all times.
Just wondering how you all keep things on the ready.

i have a clear box, similar to those black/yellow tub things everyone uses. i call it my camping box and have most of what i need for camping, plates, utensils, lights, fire starters, wipes, etc...

clothes are based on weather and what im doing. sleeping bags and pillows stay in the house until i need them.

food and drink is trip based, cant keep that ready.

i forget the folding chairs and table like 50% of the time, but those normally hang out above the camping box.

everything else is activity based (am i going fly fishing or hiking or biking on this trip?)

you dont really need to much when you go car camping for a weekend and your house is an hour or 2 away. not much that cant wait until you get home

edit* my grill is next to my camping box and i have a utensils box with it. small propanes stay in the camping box. tent is always on my rack (its a rtt thread).

My bin is too big to carry, so I put it on wheels.... But it has the essentials.

Not sure how I’ll set up once I get the RTT (waiting on the boat still), but for ground tenting, we have a couple totes under the camping gear shelf. The first trip, we load up all our gear and while camping sort through for the year, and once we return we go pick up the “needs”.

For a while we had a version of this
    4CBFDDA6-8119-44C8-97CE-E5CB723B860F.jpg

Ours had two green hanging things that we kept most of kitchen stuff in. We (I) got sick of carrying the big ass kitchen around, so we have moved to the tote method with a folding table from Wally World

Plano 1819 case. It has everything besides fresh food and water. I do have some MREs in there but its a grab and go case and I can be on the road in 20.

There we go... that's what I was looking for. I like that idea more than the cooler I have, and you can lock this style. Appreciate that.
