Pretty much this to a T.

Propane Tank, hammock, chairs, camp grill, folding table, and a box with all my basic cooking needs (utensils, plates, seasonings, cooking oils, napkins, firestarters, lighter, coffee, pans, and flashlights), all stored right next to/on top of each other.

Clothes is packed on a trip by trip basis of course. Pillows and blankets/sleeping bags stay in the tent.

After I have clothes packed, it only takes me about 5-10 minutes to get the truck fully loaded with everything we usually bring. takes the gf longer to put her one duffel in the truck.

I got a couple of Plano Sportsman boxes I have pre-packed with camp gear, camp kitchen, and food. I just picked up a couple Husky boxes from Home Depo that look super useful for the same purpose but have a better weather seal. A little smaller for the same price, but more weatherproof.
I can just throw them in the bed and take off for the weekend. Just need to pack clothes and food and incidentals. All sits on shelves on the garage for easy access and maintenance.
Got sleep bags folded up in the tent at all time. I'll add a blanket for cold nights.

EDIT: Here's the Husky box. I love the clear lid and selectable hinge features. Might end up replacing all my boxes with them. Various sizes, too.

Man, I've been looking at those also... the overall weight is what gives me hesitation.

Same here. I've been hot and cold about buying the Decked system. I'm a big organizer and like the idea but 200lbs for that is a lot to ask. I also have a wife and kids and any trips involving them results in a lot of extra luggage I'm forced to find space for. Once the kids are out of the house, I may opt for one plus a rear-seat delete. I also may not care at that point too.

I was hesitant also because of the weight. I really haven’t noticed it though. There’s a little over 400lbs in the bed with everything now and it’s still sitting pretty level. I did get the deaver packs for it, just need to find the time to throw them in. That extra height it raises the bed “floor” is really nice, I can reach anything in the bed. I thought I’d miss the bed depth but it’s honestly made it so much more useable.

I appreciate it! It’s all working extremely well together.

I am all Plano and love them for being cheap, tough, and in my system - 2 full size sportsman's, 2 smaller size - they fit perfectly in the short bed - with just enough room for water jug, chairs, and other misc gear that doesn't fit in the boxes. It's like a little Tetris system, and with my bed rack and the tailgate locked, it's semi burglar proof.

But I do like the look of these Huskies - waterproof, clear top, easier latching(?) - would be great to see them stacked in the bed.

Oh as far a Decked system. I had one. Did use quite a bit. But before the RTT I slept in the bed under the SoftTopper. With the decked you loose a lot of verticals height.
Now if your bed is open because your using a short rack or open rack then it’s good.
While I did use it when I had it. I did buy it used and sold it for what I paid for it.

    Yeah.
I was using some big RubberMaid Action Packers, but they are just a bit too big and are a pain to keep packed and move around. Switched to the Plano boxes with wheels. I use those re-usable grocery bags inside my kitchen box to organize stuff. Keeps things together and you can just pull out the whole bag. The Plano boxes are easier to move around while packed and load/unload, plus they leave more room for other stuff in the bed.

I haven't tested them in the field yet, but they have a nice thick removable rubber ring for a seal. I've only bought two, the 12gal and 5gal. I could probably stack 3 of the 12gal under my mid-height bed bars, but thats just a guess for now. I'll try to get some pics comparing them against the Planos later.

Here are the 12 and 5 gallon Husky boxes with a Plano medium Sportsman's trunk.
The lids are opened all the way, basically 90* and no further. However, they are retained and you can select on demand which side it opens to, with obvious benefits.
