I couldn’t ha. Like half that tent is useless besides throwing your bags, plus ducking just to get into the back of the bed

It's a little awning for when you sit on your tailgate?

Yep and works just fine. The tent extends the same depth as the tailgate and being lifted, it's just high enough to stand under. So yes, it's kind of a small awning when the tailgate is up, which it rarely is when the tent is set up. I actually made a couple of aluminum legs that rested between the end of the tent and the tailgate for a little more support, but realized we didn't need it. Of course when all four of us are in, we sleep with our heads toward the cab of the truck. No issues, but thanks for the concern.

Little weekend getaway about 45 minutes down the road. The water is usually about 50 or so yards from the campsite, but we’ve gotten a little rain here lately…

I haven't been back out there since they started cutting all the trees and scrub to return to grassland. I need to go check it out.

You’re not missing much as of right now, the swimming area is closed for renovation and all the trails are closed due to the rain. The place looks great aside from several campsites being fully submerged because of the lake rising so much. It was an enjoyable weekend for sure!

Just spent the last 3nights in my CVT Mt Hood. Only have about 10 nights in it.
My god, the mattress is firm for me. I'm a side sleeper and my shoulders kill me in the morning. Going to need to either get some extra memory foam for on top, or get an exped for it.

I just watched an install video and it appears to use the same tracks as all the other tents. If I had to guess, it's how the tracks mount to the tent itself? Or maybe there's a bad batch with either weak fiberglass, inferior hardware, etc. and it's not anything inherent to the design.

I bet your right. Maybe the hardware used to secure the rails is pulling through the fiberglass. Someone forgot the washers that day or something like that.

My guess would be a hardware issue.

Since all these tents use the same bolt through bottom of tent design.
