Me neither. I've watched Hobotech on Youtube put everyone of these things through numerous tests over the last year because i'd like a bigger one when the price is right. Other than just the slow charging, this one for the price delievers. It takes 6 hours to recharge and has a maximum of 65 watts of charging, but unless you're looking for something bigger for your needs, the basic everyday usage its hard to beat at this price point. Especially being lithium phosphate with a 2K charge cycle over some of the competitors using lithium which rates at around 500 charges.

I mount & remove my tent often…with each trip.
Very early on, I grew tired of scratching the powder coat on the bedrack & having to align & measure tent placement each time.
So I made these “pads” that install between the bedrack & tent rails. Replacement stainless steel bolt straps also space the mounting bolts a bit further away from the bedrack to avoid more scratches. Automatic mounting alignment each time & tent easily slides over the pads during install & takeoff.
I can make more if anyone is interested.

Anyone ever build a garage hoist system to get the tent off and on easily? Wondering if the system would be up to holding the weight of the tent...

I use this. Read the reviews because there’s a number of things that need to be improved upon before you use it. I did them and I’ve used it for three years no issues. I don’t trust it tho. I always use safety straps to make sure the tent doesn’t fall once it’s hung in case it ever fails.
With that said I don’t trust it. I think I’m going to upgrade to a Harken Hoist.

That Harken Hoister looks like a great solution. I only worry that it's close to the limit of it, since the tent alone is 150 lbs, and the rack is close to 50 lbs. And just leaving all that weight up there is, a little concerning. Perhaps using the hoist to get it up/off, then lowering onto a platform to store it on the ground might make it safer...

This one says it goes up to 200 pounds. What I do with the hoist I have now is run two ratchet straps under the tent to eye bolts in the rafters. Then I lower some of the weight on to that. This way not all the weight is on the hoist and it’s a good fail safe too.

This is an old picture but you can see the idea. Instead of this way I used one long strap to cradle the entire tent/rack assembly.

Got the Mt. Hood mounted today. Ended up removing the front rack instead of cutting it in half. I was shocked when I took the bin that I keep my recovery gear in off. If you had me guess I would have thought it weighed maybe 25 pounds. Goddam thing is over 75 pounds I bet. Way too heavy, so I'll be glad to trim the fat of that and redistribute the weight somewhere else.

I clear the garage by a country mile in the front part of the tent, but when the rear tire hits the lip of the cement it contacts the weather strip, but it stills clears! I couldn't be happier that the tent clears the door. I'm very impressed the quality of the CVT.

Before, and way before of my previous setups. So far I think this is the best one yet:

Oh heck yeah. And isn’t it wild how heavy those cases can get?? Glad to have a happy ending to this story. Depending on how close that shark fin is, there are low profile replacement covers for about $50.

It’s INSANE how much weight it added up to. To think I had that plus 7 gallons of gas up there at one time is bonkers to me. So glad it’s not up there anymore.
I’ve got almost 1” clearance on the antenna so I think I’m good and don’t need to mess with it.

That’s another ~45 lbs of gas so between that and the recovery gear, that’s the weight of another rtt! Crazy how it adds up.

Thanks everyone for those great ideas. I think the hoist + some additional straps will be great. Now off to get what I need.
