Hmm on mine I couldn’t see any questions. But I know someone locally that has bought this tent on Alibaba, and all said and done was in it at 3k. Said one of zippers was giving him grief, and the mattress is much thinner than normal ones. For the cost savings, I’m not expecting perfection, by any means.

Camped out at three different spots with three different groups of friends each day last Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Camping, shooting, and wheeling. Then, I did parts of a trail with my last group of friends to take the scenic route home. It was a good weekend of truck camping.

Based on my experience so for with my Hybrid series, I wouldn't touch one of their tents without the warranty.

I had a problem with bad stitching on the travel cover first weekend out, and a really bad night the first time in heavy rain. They replaced the rainfly and comparing the two side by side it was obvious that the first one missed the waterproofing step in production. I love the design, woulda been pissed not to get any support from them for those issues though. This is my second tent from them, the first one had no issues for 10 years rother than normal wear and tear.

After a whole 5 days, it was delivered. Packaging was great. So far. I’m pretty impressed with it. The struts seem pretty stout, the seal all around seems good to go. No damage whatsoever. Gotta wait for a buddy to stop over to mount it. Even comes with 2 extra latches. My kid was pumped for a ‘new fort in the garage’ lol!

It’s got a 1.5” mattress, which I knew about and already ordered a 3” memory foam pad.

Curious if there’s a rack you could add to the top like the Osprey ones. That would be a game changer and what I would probably end up doing

i just picked up a Mt Washington from CVT. Had it installed in Bend. It has no warranty. But a call to them to explain some missing items… the shipped them to Canada.. which they don’t typically do. Also they spent about 6 hours with me installing a fridge slide I picked up and then hummed and hawed about whether I should buy a bigger tent.

They were uncontrollably easy-going and fun to work with. Knowledgeable too.

So be sure, if you buy a CVT, reach out for support. They live up to that from what I understand.

You could easily make one with minimal effort. Slide some nuts in the track and bolt some plates in, and cut some extrusion to use as your cross bars.

I like this idea. I have one of those Anker chargers. Can use it instead of my Bluetti.

I replaced the zipper on my tent a while back. I ordered a pack off Amazon for replacing Jeep soft-top zippers (YKK #10 or #10C-1-BLK) and one by 'zipper rescue' for marine zipper sizes. I searched forever for the tent zipper size and asked around on here and wasn't able to find it, but after ordering enough random sizes I got lucky.

Custom, only one ever designed and built interiors, heavily welded frame, all sharp metal turned bed rack and a roof top I made for $75. Power pedal, injen intake system, cat delete, summit racing brake proportioning valve controlled on the fly, slightly adjusted or perhaps unrecognizable ECM, built in under bed storage, high clearance rear built with 1/4" on a 6011 1/8" rod at 120 amps, 360 degrees of led light, a PA and CB, on board air, on board propane (to cook food), on board fridge made from an old red bull fridge found on some guys man cave built into the storage cubby under the back seat, imported tranny and clutch from a good friend over in Europe to replace this aisin junk we get, combined 32 gallons fuel capacity, 18 5 gallons of water storage, built in gun locker under RTT, and all it cost was to hear the wife ramble on about upset neighbors at 2 in the morning every night since I bought that damn truck..
Broke down for the time being and luckily made it to my buddy's shop. Parts = discounted. 2 new tires = it'll hit ya right in the feels if I said. The ability to have a good night sleep on a mattress while saving hundreds on hotels = priceless

Ah.. the cut out. This was a salvage attempt. Long story short, freon and propane don't mix. I was making an on board refrigerator put of a redbull fridge I got for free from a bartender in Vegas. I don't drink redbull, nor do I drink alcohol but I figured I could use it somehow. I already have onboard propane for the grill (cut out a section in my tailgate and used an old coleman) but needless to say the fridge failed. So I cut the shreds out and mounted a shovel I found in my buddies truck (he's a state worker so he won't miss it)
