Would you say the indoor/outdoor carpet helps with condensation? I don't really want to permanently install carpet tiles, I like the idea of being able to remove and thoroughly clean the carpet/tent.

I went ahead and ordered the Amazon Lost Horizon Double mattress today, reviews are good, apparently they have decent customer service and a 2 year warranty.

I’m curious to hear your thoughts on the Lost Horizon. I’ve used it a couple times, it seems hard compared to my Stoic. The Stoic is super comfortable, but I couldn’t get the air to stay out of it, so switched the Lost Horizon.

Hard? Interesting.. Have you tried adjusting how much you inflate it?
Should arrive next week sometime (so much for prime on that one) will report my thoughts/opinions as soon as I have them.

I only have a 110 blanket for campgrounds it also works as an extra cushion layer when not in use. I just this last fall bought a second 100ah battery and am looking into a 12v blanket for anything off grid but may hold off since I have plenty of blanket options I usually pack. I wish I had one of those internal tent quilt insulation things that some of the nicer tents have for cold weather to help hold in heat but smittybilt is cheap and I haven't found one built for the tent.

I dont think it will help with condensation under the mattress. I just bought one from costco and cut it down to size then put some velcro in the corners to keep it held in place when I fold my tent in half. I have had some issues with condensation inside the tent in the morning but I am usually a two night stay kind of person so I dont tend to wake up and tear down camp bright and early so the tent gets some time to air out.

I have to admit I sit in my office and look at the pic in your post about 15 minutes a day. It is the only thing keeping me going until Spring LOL!!!

That's a horrible idea. What time?
I received some good news from iKamper on the window replacement. They actually have some XCover 1.0 shells in stock. $350 plus delivery and I'll have a practically new tent for the cost of doing the work. Waiting on the shipping cost, which I should get today, then place the order. Maybe I'll be off the ground this year.

Perhaps firm would’ve been a better choice. Haven’t played around a ton with the air. I’ve only used twice, so will need to experiment with it.

Took my new-to-me tent out to Moab a few weeks ago for its maiden voyage. She did not disappoint!

    I'm guessing your signature.

    But I have the same....

My phone lock screen is a view overlooking Orient Bay in Saint Martin (French side)

My work computer lock screen - I took this on my way out going west on my cannonball run road trip a while back. Google says it's right the F here.

    Sorry, I know off topic.

We went out this weekend and used the tent and climbed (part of) Mt. Washington.
We got to the AMC hut at the lake of the clouds and crested the ridge the wind went from manageable to chaotic. We were ready for it, but not the dog. So we bailed and then had to go back DOWN the ravine trail, which, to be fair, we weren't ready for how much ice there was (no spikes or poles).

BUT the camping was great! Getting used to the tent, setup and breakdown goes a LOT faster now.
