Get the All Pro rack. I love it. Spray with rustoleum bed liner and then just touch up as needed. Taking the tent on and off twice now it scraped some of it off. Easy fix, I just shot it with the can I leave in the truck. Problem solved.

Howdy guys. FYI I will be in Australia this week, returning on 5/25 and I'll have limited access to email and messages. If you have questions about the tents etc I'll respond as quickly as I can either when I have internet or when I get back. If you need immediate help, you can always call the Tepui shop number 800-301-9874

I welded up a bed rack and got the RTT mounted to it this weekend! I am still working on making a stand for the bed rack that will mount to the floor of my small trailer so that I have the option of using on either the truck or trailer.

Also got my tracking number from CVT and the annex for my tent is scheduled to be here this Thursday. That should give me enough time to get the trailer rack finished and painted before this weekend. I can't wait to try this out.

    Still in progress.

Question: If I use this power tap:

to run a strip of LED's, and say a cell phone charger or this fan:

    http://www.amazon.com/Roadpro-Battery-Clip-On-Cigarette-Lighter/dp/B00065L2D8/ref=pd_bxgy_263_img_z

How long do you suppose the battery would last to still be able to start the truck?

Would this have negative effects on the battery's overall life?

Will it draw power if I leave it connected but nothing turned on/plugged in?

Will the alternator recharge the battery if I start and let the truck idle?

It totally depends on how much power the devices draw. Repeated deep discharging a starter battery will shorten its overall lifespan. A deep cycle battery that can also be used as a starter battery (optima yellow top is an example) is better for this. Just being connected will not draw power, they would have to be turned on and running. Yes, you alt will be able to recharge the battery.
