Dehumidifier if you can leave it in your garage or something.. If not then let it air out as much as possible. Thats what i'd do

 

Don't have a garage, but Im going to my parents for thanksgiving may be able to leave it open

 

I've had the mold on the tent for a few weeks, I cleaned it with soap and water and let it sit out for a while, but it came back. Living in an apartment doesn't offer much space or anything to work on it. So when I go to my parents (in Florida damn humidity ) I'm gonna try and get rid of it

 

You could also open it up and put a fan in it to circulate the air.

 

Cool thanks! I'll try that. I saw on Tepui's website to use a Lysol and hot water combo, then rinse with hot water and air dry for a few hours

 

Rained when I used it and then it didn't stop till last weekend so I couldn't do much. But its only a few small spots

 

I was going to clean the entire thing since I'll have the time and space. Just use the 303 products to disinfect?

Your suggestion @DoorDing is the best idea for treating mold. Anytime you use a bleach solution you should try it first on a small inconspicuous section to make sure it doesn't discolor the fabric.

Pick up some tea tree oil and dilute with water in a spray bottle I have had great success with it. Had a leak through floorboard in my mkv gti soaked my entire driver side carpet front and back and I wasnt aware of it until it came through the carpet could have been water there for months. pulled carpet fixed leak dried everything and two weeks later ive got mold popping up everywhere so pulled the carpet again and soaked both sides and floor boards with tea tree oil never saw the mold again. Has a very strong odour for a day or so before it disappears.

 

Especially when it rains for a week straight so you can't air it out. And not having a garage to open it up in

That is the real issue. If you open it in the rain, you gotta have a place to dry it out.

 

Which isnt any different than a ground tent, except the possibility that you could open those in the garage. I know i couldnt do that either though

Yeah, but if a tent gets ruined, not the same as with an RTT.

 

No not if you have a cheap one. But there are expensive ground tents still
