Wow that will be awesome. Too bad you are a short bed or I would make an offer on it when the time comes.

Can you make something where the vertical supports can be adjusted up or down? Maybe a bolt that sits in an adjustable sliding vertical support? That would satisfy the desire for different rack heights....

Definitely not as simple as it sounds. Because the sides are angled, the top cross bar would change length as it goes up or down.

Right... maybe a slot on the upper cross bar to allow for some movement as the support goes up and down. I've seen how well designed your stuff is, you could figure out a solution.

My BAMF bed rack is as low as it can be without any of the horizontal bars coming into view in my rear view mirror. If needed, I need as much (and tall) bed space as possible. With the tent on top, it's the same height as my basket, and so the fairing has dual purpose.

This was of course perfect until I moved into my new house. Now the only way to fit in the garage is to take off the RTT ladder off :(

I think my packrack height is just about perfect as well. The bars come just down into view but leave plenty of room to see out the back. The tent sticks about halfway above the cab though

Alright, I got my CVT Mt Hood yesterday but I don't know what these braces are for. The user manual isn't the greatest either.

Those are braces for the ladder. They should go from the aluminum band along the edge of the tent base to the side rails of the ladder. And there should be 4 self tapping screws to attach them.

I followed a similar route and went with a champion winch from Cabelas. Couldn't be any easier that pressing up or down on the remote.

Which model is that? I'm seeing this 2000 lb as the lowest rating (a bit of overkill) on their site right now, but it is "new" and black, not yellow like yours.

Edit: Ooops, searched for "hoist" instead of "winch" and found it. This one, right? 440/880 lb hoist

I just bought the HF 2500lb ATV winch for $50 on black friday. Only downside is it works on DC, so I'm hoping the AC/DC converter I just bought on Amazon has true 10a or else the winch won't work.

Does it have a remote control like the hoists mentioned above?
