Tepui Kukenam/Autana size Anti-condensation mats are expected to be back in stock today for anyone who's been waiting. The Ayer and Gran Sabana/Kuk XL size are in stock as well. Let me know if you need one.

Finally got my replacement bases. I ran into some issues in my personal life and had to put off ordering for a while. Actually ordered them on Tuesday and they showed up on Friday. went with the stock bases, new hinges, new cover, mounting rails/hardware... they hooked me up $480 shipped to Denver. Building myself a rack next weekend... with @SilverGhost . can't wait to get this thing out of my living room! LOL

Seriously though, $480 and will basically have a new tent since nothing else was damaged in the inaugural run on Tank Trap lol.

    Thanks to
@Box Rocket for getting me connected with Griffin at Tepui who was AWESOME to work with.
@loco for the tent. hope to connect with you and the 80 in the future. if ya ever need a place to crash in Denver just give me a shout.
@SilverGhost ... well a pre-emptive thanks... since we haven't built it yet... lol

I have to say... I'm Originally from Oregon (parents live just north of Bend) where CVT is, and I really wanted to support an Oregon company... so I was planning on buying my first RTT from them. but this Tepui was given to me, and their customer service is making it damn near impossible to want to go anywhere else. this is no reflection on CVT, I stopped into their shop two years ago over the holidays and talked with Bobby and wasted his time, he was nothing but gracious and very knowledgeable. I imagine his customer service would be just as great... my point is that if you're looking for an RTT, Tepui seems to make a great tent, but their support for their product is outstanding so even if you have to replace something, they will take care of you.

$480 to take a $1400 tent(including shipping) from roll over back to new isn't a bad deal IMO.

It's good to hear that you finally were able to get this figured out! Griffin is great and I knew he'd be able to get you sorted with the right stuff. Thanks for posting!

For those with a rack on top of the cab, do you have any issues clearing garage door frames? I will be putting a 2.5-3" lift on shortly, and I'm worried about clearing the top of the garage with an RTT and rack on top of the cab. Since I have a shell, I'd like to be able to put lift in the garage to remove the shell/RTT.

Depends on your garage, I'm not lifted yet but I have an RTT that's sits ~4" over roof line mounted to a bed rock, and I will not fit my door when I lift 3" soon. If you're gonna be on cab better start measuring.

I've been considering one. For the additional insulation and possible better rain protection.

Really going to depend on your garage door and lift/tire size.

I have my truck lifted 2.5 or so and 285/75/r16. On top of my canopy on Thule bars I just barely fit. My garage has a silly curved feature to it. So I have to make sure I'm centered when pulling in and then I have about an inch on the edges

Do you have a 7' garage door? If so you're probably not going to fit.

I've never had an issue with water or anything and I've been in some shitty rain storms with my tent. I'm interested in the hood though more for just that extra bit of warm.

I love having a 10' bay door on the garage

I've had issues with water a few times. In the worst situation, I had water permeating through the roof and upwind wall. But, I was camped out in a storm with 60+ MPH gusts and pouring rain all night. If I'd known conditions were going to be that severe, I would've just slept in the cab.

Truth be told, I was shocked the wind didn't rip the canvas right off the tent. It was crazy, we woke up the next morning and there were trees down everywhere. Definitely increased my faith in the Tepui, I was impressed.

Not me, but I have been researching now for future purchase this summer. I notice this tent is made from 400D and others are between 280D and 360D ripstop. There has to be weight savings gained by a different fabric, thinner base, and lighter poles. :notsure:

Yeah I agree about a lot of their products being overpriced. As for the tent, they have it priced at 1179 shipped. I'm still trying to find out about their warranty on the tent.
