It's a Mt. Shasta (with stargazer, but you can't see that in any of the pics).

Mt. Rainier on a Relentless Bars, my truck is a DCSB. Hope that helps advertise for your group buy. I know when I was in the market, all I wanted to see was similar trucks with the RTT's that i was interested in!

Picked up a annex from Adam for my Kukenam.

Pleased to report that we were successful at leaving it attached and still able to fit it under the cover. Way stoked on this as it won't make much difference in setup/tear down time.

^ I need pictures of this. I've looked at trying to do this but it looks like no way it would work! I have an Autana Model so not sure if that plays a factor but kudos to you for fitting it

I'll have pictures next weekend on our Death Valley trip.

Not sure on the Autana. The overhang towards the front and the larger physical size of the annex may be a bit too much. We took our time trying different folding methods until we found one that worked. The key was allowing the ladder to still lay flush against the floor then fold the annex to the sides of it, if that makes sense.

It's very tight, but do-able. My g/f has the tent stuffed with 4 full sized pillows, comforter and sheets as well and sure it's not helping haha.

Sure would be great if Tepui offered a XL cover for such thing.

I could have sworn I saw someone post up a picture of a "extra large" cover... don't remember if it was Tepui... but I know it's here... after all, I just read through all 324 pages since last Friday lol. I'll see if I can find it... if not.. @Box Rocket might have some insight... or be able to pass on the idea... pretty sure it'd sell well.

A "storage cover" would be great. A bit extra room to throw my annex, camp chairs, maybe clothing bags up there would be sweet.

So this isn't the exact post I was talking about... but

Yeah that would be kind of cool... not sure how it'd work to store "gear" though... since leaving them in the tent it starts to be a issue with stress on the bases and "fulcrum-ing" the hinges (if that makes sense)... though I guess you could put them on top of the tent (when folded)... I think just something with a little more room to store the annex a little easier. but I think the issue would be the cover flapping while driving and breaking itself down over time

The models with out the additional overhang (where the ladder ends up inside the annex) I believe you can fold the annex up inside and have it shut properly. Again seen people post about it but never seen it in person. I would be worried with stress on hinges and the additional lift where the cover doesn't keep rain out.

Would love to see some pictures of how you folded it and made it all fit. Want to use the annex, just havent justified the time to put it up and take it down to actually use it. Also curious if it will put to much stress on the hinges like others have said.

Not sure why there would be a concern with the hinges? Nothing is being forced, nor be subject to anything close to what they'd endure while folded out with people inside the tent.

I'll get some photos next weekend for you guys.

it's because the force would be different... if you put something IN the tent then tried to shut it... the object acts like a fulcrum and applies pressure to the hinges at the mounts trying to force them apart to make the bases parallel. actually what would probably happen is you'd tweak the bases as they're the real weak point it seems.

think of taking your laptop... now put a small book on the keyboard and shut it... see how it puts force on the hinge as well as the screen and keyboard? that's what we're talking about. hope that made sense.

Nothing is going in the tent other then the regular bedding that's always been in there.

Think of putting that same small book on TOP of the laptop when it's already been shut...

My mistake. I was thinking the annex was folding up inside of the tent (inside the laptop like ebbs15 was saying) I guess the real issue would be getting the cover on and zipped. What do you do with the 4th side of the cover thats supposed to slide on the base?
