    I just did a bit of TLC on my locking mechanism. Mostly the latches on the sides. All tuned up and ready to go-and easy enough to do too!

    Ya mine are a but rusty so wd-40 and some coke to clean them up. I'm going to have to order seals and what not all so the brackets the locks latch to. One is rusted pretty good. But for $280 I'm not complaining. lol I'm just glad I only had to drive like 2 hrs to get it.

    You could pump $500 into it and still have a good deal and the seals and misc parts aren't going to be that expensive.

    I have power from my aux fuse block that runs back to the shell's light. And everything else is wired to the tail light with a scotch-lock. I also leave the shell light in the off position because I don't trust the pin switch.

    P.S. You'll want a disconnect of some kind. A 3 or 4 pin Molex connector is enough.
