Got to finally use mine this weekend. Mt shasta used with my self (6'3" 170lbs) and my best bro (6'4" 190lbs) handled it like a champ! Loving it but need to find a cheap anti condensation matt cus my mattress was damp after the rain and humidity. plus install lights and a usb/cig plug inside the tent

Look for a car storage net seems to work the best. Then just rig it to work on your tent

    Sweet! Looks good.

The anti-condensation mat isn't very expensive through CVT. They can cut it to fit if needed.

Agreed, I don't use the fitted, just keep a flat sheet for a full in there and it works well. Then just have the blankets or sleeping bag in the cab or in a pelican box. Ive got the mt Shasta as well.

Mine are all battery operated. They work well. I just keep spare AAAs in my truck.

Full covers it? I was curious cus if I went with a fitted sheet I didn't know what would work. I'll look into full. Thanks!

My wife and I got two soft sheets from goodwill and sewed them together to make like a pillow case cover for the mattress. That way the sheet always stays on when tent is folded up during multi-day, multi-stop outings. I realize not everyone may be able to sew, but its an option. Any bag, bucket mesh or whatever will work for a shoe holder bag, and this is highly recommended. I will also just chuck my pants in there too since they're usually dirty.

Lights - in the tent I just use a lantern that hangs from the overhead bar. Some guys have wired LED's on the crossbars, but for my purposes the work/benefit ratio is not there for me. I will likely run an LED strip on the underside of the overhang one day.

My entire light set up cost me 10 dollars lol. Only reason I did that instead of just keep hanging my lantern

Yeah. That's why I said work/benefit ;) I live in a condo which means doing little projects like that is a major pain in the butt. So the benefit vs. the "cost" in work and getting grief from neighbors for doing yet another project, not there for me.

EDIT - however, if I had a nice driveway, I'd probably do this too just b/c it would be freaking cool to have.

Oh mine are still battery op. It took no work, just velcroed them in. I live in an apartment and don't have room in my parking lot to work lol...

And yes. The car to the right of mine always parks that close. I've started trying to park so close to them that they have to get in their passenger side.

    This is my work station.

Sucks doesn't it! I get more complaints than I could have imagined. Got to get out of Southern CA soon! I've also seen guys actually wire LED strips in the tent that are hard wired and operate on a switch (similar to the bedlights @mattgecko sells). That is more or less what I meant by I don't want to spend that amount of time on it. Anyhow, I'll stop beating this horse.

Same. I was gonna do that, but decided my way is easier and works just as well. The usb port would be cool to charge my phone though.

Luckily my girlfriends car is the fiesta next to me. If I need to, I park her car on the street and park over both our spots.
