Take the mattress out so when you soak the tent the mattress doesn't unintentionally get wet somehow and then mold and mildew set in, in the mattress.

Just as a precaution so it doesn't get wet. Would be easier to take out just in case than wait forever for it to dry

Can't comment on his lights but all Tepui tents now have fully wrapped internal frame (bows).

    That's pretty sweet news!

On a side note, I saw Todd at Molina Ghost Run this weekend and his imitation Box Rocket 'Cruiser. Great to see him flying the Tepui flag.

Does he have a Cruiser now? I thought he had a 4Runner?

He's got both now. The white Runner and the cruiser. I talked to him a little bit about his business and a part of the service he's offering includes the ability to take passengers on overlanding trips. So the cruiser makes sense. He's got a trailer as well.

Cool. I haven't seen his cruiser, or his trailer.

I didn't take any pics but it looks OK. He said he paid around $2500 for it. I'm sure it needed some work-and it still does. It'll be very nice when it's done. The trailer is nothing spectacular-in fact, I think it's one he towed with his old Runner.

Sorry for late response, but was going to route the wiring inside the pole wrap, but that would be pretty extensive work to do that. The wiring is secured with wire ties about every foot or two apart. It works well and holds up fine.

Hey y'all! I'm still about a month out from getting my RTT on my truck (I need to work on the lift, crawl box, etc. in the garage, and I can barely get it in there with it stock).

That said, without going back through the 300+ pages of the thread, what would your Top 5 'Must Have' RTT Mods be? These things are similar enough, I'd love to hear from all of the CVT and ARB folks, even though I'm rocking a Tepui Gran Sabana Ruggedized. Thanks in advance! Hopefully I'll be contributing myself here soon!

Not sure I understand this question... the bars will need to be taller than your tool box lid when opened. You are the only one who can figure that one out. But maybe I misread what you're looking for.

just two of the egg crate type foam jobbies... they work well but we want a memory foam one. I slept well, but my GF didn't, so that's the real reason for the want for a memory foam one

Subd. This may have been covered already, but has anyone installed any anti-theft bolts or otherwise a security device to secure their tent?
