    I've heard of cracking and flex.

    My bedrack weighs probably 75-85 pounds with out the tent... But it is spread evenly on the whole bedside... If I notice cracking Ill go back to the drawing board and make some support legs that will utilize the front bed mounting bolts as a place to secure the rack as well as a support leg in the front

    some folks get angle iron that runs the full length of the bed to help spread out the weigh.

    I agree though, we all initally tried to give her advice and point her somewhere in the right direction but instead of doing the legwork herself, she replied with "ATFQ" and "why bother replying" when someone didnt magically post the video that didn't exist. She did the same thing on the Norcal thread. Quite annoying when two threads are saying the same thing and she just replied with the same shit.

    Little over a month or so and about 500 off road miles. Maybe a little soon to see any negative affects but I don't forsee any at this point.

    After about 3 years of use (off road and on road) I had bedsides flex and start to crack from a previous bed rack that had a 4 gallon rotopax on each side and my rtt. I have since switched out to a bed cage that bolts into the bed using the bed bolts and does not sit on the bed sides.
